Carrot Global is one of the leading language instruction companies based in South Korea. We are searching for additional full and part time instructors to teach English by video and phone to students based in South Korea.

This is a temporary position due to end in December with a possibility of renewing.

Our students are adults professionals and younger learners.

POSITION INFORMATION:

- Choose your own hours

Our peak hours are: 6am-10am & 6pm-midnight, Monday to Friday (Korean Standard Time)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Native English speaker
- University/College Degree required (or other further education)
- Quiet area to work
- Reliable computer with at least 8 GB of RAM minimum, 16 preferred (Windows 10 or MacOS 11), i5 CPU or equivalent
- Hard wired High-Speed internet service (no wifi)
- Internet speed of at least 20Mbps up and down
- Proficiency with computers
- Landline or cellular phone (only needed for emergency use with a company calling card)
- USB computer headset with a microphone
- Webcam
- Consistent availability during our peak demand times
- 25 hours or more availability during our peak hours
- Instructors who can work 5 days per week for at least 30 hours or more are preferred
- Preference for instructors residing in the US or Canada (though not required)
- Teaching experience (preferred but not required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Starting Salary: $11.00 to $13.00/hour USD / $13.00 to $15.00/hour CAD
