Meet My Tutors is an online tutoring agency founded in 2020, specialising in connecting tutors who are interested in teaching tailored lessons online to students wanting to develop their academic skills. We provide online educational services for students both domestically (in the UK), worldwide, and particularly with Chinese students. We’re currently growing our community of expert educators.

Age ranges for students can vary from 4 years old to mature students, with tailored lessons covering early foundation level English, Mathematics and Science up to GCSE and University level academic tuition.

As our students, and often their parents, expect well prepared and well delivered online lessons, we aim to work with experienced and qualified tutors. This is both positive for the quality of the teaching outcome for the student, and for the continuing success of the tutor.

We provide tutoring services for a wide array of subjects, and need educators with backgrounds in each of the following areas:

· CELTA (or equivalent) tutors for international students

· QTS tutors for 7+, 11+, 13+, GCSE and A Level in a variety of subjects for British students.

Responsibilities:

The consultant shall provide educational tutoring including but not limited to:

· teaching 25-, 50- or 60-minute online tutorial sessions.

· some proof reading, editing, and translation services.

· devising lesson plans based on details and materials provided by the student.

· providing clear and helpful explanations of concepts.

· helping students to prepare for and plan their course assignments.

· assisting the student with step-by-step solutions to practice problems.

Minimum Requirements:

· Completed Bachelor's degree

· 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience

· TEFL, CELTA, TESOL (or equivalent) for teaching English as a foreign language

· QTS/PGCE license/qualification for teaching UK students

· Enthusiastic and friendly personality

· Clear communication skills

· Strong problem solving and time-management ability

· Detail-oriented and with a strong sense of responsibility.
