🌞 Ffern is growing its Ads Studio, and we’re looking for a creative mind to join the team. You’ll play a central role in shaping campaigns that bring our seasonal fragrances to life - from the first spark of an idea through to on-set direction and final edit. This is a chance to work at the intersection of craft, storytelling and culture, helping to expand how Ffern communicates with the world through advertising.

As a Creative within the Ffern Ads Studio, you’ll work directly with our Head of Ads Studio to ideate quarterly campaigns, collaborate with creative producers to bring these to life, and work with a wide pool of collaborators – from directors to floral artists and set designers. Along the way, you’ll develop a portfolio of thoughtful, original campaigns created in collaboration with leading artists and makers.

Key Responsibilities đź’Ľ

  • Develop innovative ad concepts that bring Ffern’s seasonal narrative to life.
  • Play a key role in the creative process for Ffern Ads – from research and ideation to commissioning, on-set direction and post-production.
  • Stay immersed in creative culture and identify collaborators – from directors and studios to photographers and set designers – aligned with the Ffern brand.
  • Shape and deliver seasonal ads while staying ahead of industry trends and emerging talent.
  • Collaborate closely with the Ads Studio and wider brand team to ensure work is aligned with Ffern’s vision.
  • Contribute to a thoughtful, organised and creatively ambitious studio environment, where production and storytelling feels considered at every stage.

Requirements

Your Profile đź‘‘

  • 5+ years of industry experience and a portfolio showcasing strong advertising sensibilities as well as high-quality creative, with engaging storytelling at its core.
  • Proven creative and on-set production experience, ideally in-house at a brand, within advertising or design-driven environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing, and filmmaking trends.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and visual – with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and meet project deadlines. 
  • Technical proficiency in industry-standard software (Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Familiarity with film tools such as Premiere Pro or After Effects would be an advantage.
  • A passion for craft and storytelling, and a desire to share stories from the natural world with a wide audience.
  • A collaborative mindset and adaptability in fast-paced creative environments.
  • Ffern productions are often in remote locations – a UK driving license would be hugely beneficial, though not essential.
