You’ll guide them to training and resources, helping them thrive in their roles and contribute to XR North’s growth.<br><br>What difference will you make?<br><br><strong>Your impact <br><br></strong><ul><li>The chance to play a vital role in the growth of XR North by supporting and integrating new volunteers.</li><li>An opportunity to build and develop your skills in recruitment, mentorship, and volunteer coordination.</li><li>The ability to contribute to a positive and impactful community working toward environmental change.</li><li>Access to training and support from XR North to help you fulfill your role.<br><br></li></ul>What are we looking for?<br><br><strong>Essential Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Reliable and proactive, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>A people person, skilled at fostering relationships and supporting others.</li><li>Ability to see the bigger picture while managing day-to-day responsibilities.</li><li>Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a diverse team.</li><li>A minium of 3 years experience working in either recruitment, volunteer management or HR<br><br></li></ul><strong>Desired Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Understanding of or experience within XR or the environmental movement is advantageous but not essential.</li><li>Willingness to undertake any necessary training related to the role.<br><br></li></ul>What will you be doing?<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Maintain oversight of unfilled roles within XR North.</li><li>Liaise with the XR North Anchor team to publicise open roles and opportunities.</li><li>Post volunteer roles, update listings, and respond to applications on the XRUK Volunteer Website and Reach Volunteering.</li><li>Answer emails and queries from new volunteers.</li><li>Arrange online onboarding meetings with new volunteers, providing relevant links and connecting them with other members of the Anchor team for next steps.</li><li>Attend fortnightly Anchor team meetings on Zoom when necessary, to provide updates on recruitment and integration efforts, and identify areas where additional support is needed.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Accessibility Considerations <br><br></strong>This is a fully remote role.
