An opportunity has arisen for a newly created role as Group Credit Control Manager. As Head of Credit Control, you will effectively integrate and have appropriate oversight of credit control at a Group level and assist the Group Financial Controller with operational tasks.

As Group Credit Control Manager at our North London Wembley office, you will:

  • Line Managing the UK Credit Control Team Leader and having overall responsibility for the UK based function covering the UK and France
  • Working with Group subsidiary companies ensuring that the group’s policies and procedures are followed
  • Supporting subsidiary companies in resolving debt collection issues
  • Monthly review meetings with subsidiary companies with supporting commentary highlighting key issues and risks
  • Working closely with internal sales teams and customers to support credit decisions
  • Driving process alignment across the group with a key focus on process efficiency and automation
  • Owning the group’s credit insurance relationships
  • Cashflow forecasting and analysis of receipts
  • Leading the credit control workstream as part of the finance integration team for future acquisitions

The ideal Credit Control Manager will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience leading a credit control function including line management
  • Experience business partnering with external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills including ability to analyse data to pro-actively identify trends and strategies for improvement
  • Experience in creating and the roll-out of policy and procedure documentation
  • Ability to prioritise to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Highly literate in most Microsoft packages
  • Experience working in a multi-country group environment desirable
