Description & Requirements

Software Engineer (.NET and Angular)
We are on the hunt for a talented, creative, and architecturally minded software engineer to join our Revenue Growth Management Development team, which currently comprises 25 individuals including software engineers, data engineers, DevOps, QA, BA, and a Project Manager.

The team owns two products and is undergoing a replatforming project, moving from a single-tenant Azure setup to a multi-tenant, containerized AWS solution. This is a period of significant discovery and creative problem-solving.

You’ll be delivering features across our SaaS platform built on the Microsoft .NET 8 and Angular stack as well as supporting a crucial migration project to the AWS platform. The focus for this role is primarily back-end with some exposure to Angular, so you will be comfortable working on the .NET 8 back-end as well as performing occasional maintenance on the UI.

This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining the Infor RGM product delivery team, with an opportunity to influence the team culture and platform roadmap at a critical point in our growth, in an environment filled with lovely people and a passion for excellent customer experiences!

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you’ll:

  • Deliver features for our SaaS platform built on Microsoft .NET 8 and Angular
  • Support a crucial migration project to AWS
  • Focus primarily on back-end development (.NET 8), with some exposure to Angular and UI maintenance

Current Tech Stack

  • C# .NET 8
  • AWS & Azure
  • SQL Server
  • Angular
  • Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes
  • Git & GitLab
  • Event-based architecture (SNS, SQS)

You’ll be...

  • Comfortable working with an established agile process to scope, define, and deliver great features and infrastructure
  • Passionate about excellent technology delivery, from best practices to contributing to the technical roadmap
  • Keen to understand our products, our market, and our clients
  • Technically proficient; an exceptional problem solver with great communication skills
  • Able to spot opportunities to optimize and improve our software, both in terms of technology and UX
  • Confident translating designs into code that produces visual elements of the application
  • Able to demonstrate hands-on experience with current trends and best practices in architecture, including performance optimization, accessibility, and usability
  • Possessing a keen eye for UI/UX detail, and able to work with the UI/UX designer to bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation—taking an active role in defining how the application looks and works

Required Skills

We’re a Microsoft .NET / Angular shop, with a platform including:

  • C# .NET 8 & SQL Server – Modern application and backend storage
  • Git & GitLab – Source control and CI/CD runners
  • AWS EKS – Container orchestration
  • SNS, SQS – Event-based architecture
  • Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes – Containerization and infrastructure management
  • Angular & JavaScript frameworks – Front-end development

Ideally, you will have hands-on experience with all of the above. Our platform is also hosted on Azure as we transition to AWS, meaning you will also be working on the Azure product but to a lesser extent. Ideally, you’ll have exposure to:

  • Microsoft Azure cloud systems
  • Azure Functions, Azure Services
  • Azure SQL Server, Postgres for data storage
  • Azure Container Apps
  • Octopus Deploy or similar CI/CD toolsets

If you’ve used similar systems but not these, that’s okay – we're looking for familiarity with the concepts and an ability to absorb new knowledge quickly and get yourself up to speed with whatever the situation needs.

An ability to communicate and collaborate clearly to refine solution designs will be essential.
