We are looking to hire our Western Europe Construction Leader, to bring the team to the next level. The Role

The Western Europe Construction Leader (Remote role – Can be based anywhere in Europe) is responsible for driving the line of business (LoB) profit and loss (P&L) in the Western Europe region. This role manages and develops the value proposition, oversees product and intellectual property development, and leads the regional pipeline and sales opportunities. The position works closely with regional business leaders to maximize merger revenue opportunities and ensure the growth and profitability of the construction business.

This role Will have direct reporting to Global Head of the Global Line Of Business and the CRB Geography Leader

  • Drive the Western Europe Regional Construction P&L in coordination with region leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Implement and support the Global Construction strategy in the Region
  • Oversee and develop Regional construction team and talent in the region
  • Oversee the regional pipeline and sales opportunities, collaborating with business and LoB heads, Lead Client Relationship Directors, and other regional heads.
  • Maximize merger revenue opportunities.
  • Lead the development of the regional value proposition and innovation in products and intellectual property.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership team, other geography heads, industry leaders, and broking leads.
  • Oversee regional marketing efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold company values and behaviors, including a commitment to inclusion and diversity.

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Preferably educated to degree or MBA level (or country equivalent).
  • Professional qualifications such as ACII or similar, or relevant industry experience.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of developing people.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and budgeting skills.
  • High levels of business and financial acumen, with an understanding of company strategy and change management.
  • Proven track record of delivering new business against challenging sales targets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence within a matrix environment.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to act as an ambassador for the company.
  • Holds all regulatory licenses, permissions, and technical or other requirements applicable under local legislation.
  • Commitment to company values and behaviors, especially inclusion and diversity.
