We are now looking for a Shift Supervisor who will be responsible for leading our team of Fleet Specialists in London.


YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As a Shift-Lead, you manage a team of Fleet Specialists. You will divide your time between performing tasks in-field (80%) and managerial duties (hiring, training, performance follow-ups of the team)(20%).

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Vehicle Utilization – You are out on the streets, collecting and deploying our scooters with a hands on mentality
  • Navigating Logistics – Aid in receiving, packing, and deploying new vehicles
  • Managing your team – Create shiftplans, cultivate team performance, and proactively enhance processes when unmet expectations are met. Supervise your team's activities, ensuring tasks are conducted efficiently and safely
  • Upholding Quality Standards – Collaborate with your team to identify and rectify damaged or misplaced vehicles, ensuring tidy parking spots and restoring fallen vehicles
  • Cultivating Talent – Interview, train, and nurture Fleet Specialists to ensure year-round operational success, aligned with performance targets
  • Synergistic Planning – Collaborate with managers to optimize work schedules, ensuring efficient shift planning and execution.

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We are looking for a pragmatic and responsible team-player who can fulfill tasks, solve problems independently, and work as a part of a team to find new solutions and reach set goals. In addition to being fluent in English, the right person needs:


  • 2+ years of previous work experience
  • Experience managing a team of people
  • A Full UK Driving License with a maximum of 6 points for minor offenses and no major offenses and meet the requirements for our e-Van insurance. The reason for this is you may be required to drive one of our e-Van's occasionally
  • General understanding of digital work tools (MS-office, G-Suite)

  • Working days: 5 out of 7
  • Working hours: Various shifts
  • Working days: Weekly rotation (Would be expected to work some weekends when needed)
  • Contract type: 6 months fixed-term
