Job Summary of Warehouse Attendant:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Attendant:

  • Unloading trucks can be completed with the aid of tools such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
  • Input received goods into the inventory management software and assign them to their appropriate storage locations.

  • Adhere to safety and space utilization protocols when organizing and storing merchandise, with a focus on accessibility and efficiency.
  • Accurate and regular monitoring of inventory levels is crucial, and it is important to report any discrepancies or shortages to the supervisors as soon as possible.
  • Accomplish order requests by retrieving merchandise from shelves or storage bins as indicated by pick tickets or electronic orders.
  • By carefully packing and preparing merchandise, you can guarantee its completeness and proper packaging before shipping.
  • Adhere the necessary labels to the packages indicating the details of the delivery.
  • Ensure that the delivery schedules to Walmart stores or customers are strictly adhered to by efficiently preparing all shipments as needed.
  • Correctly load goods onto trucks or shipping containers by utilizing fitting equipment and methods.
  • Cooperate with the logistics department to arrange for the required pickups and deliveries.
