Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Handle cash register transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management for reordering.
  • Assist in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to guests in various settings.
  • Uphold all health and safety regulations while serving drinks in compliance with local laws.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairings.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Experience with catering services is a plus, showcasing versatility in service environments.
  • Familiarity with fine dining standards is advantageous, enhancing the guest experience in upscale settings.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help colleagues as needed.
