Do you want to help large companies succeed with cloud technology? As a Technical Consultant (Technical Account Manager) at AWS, you will guide enterprise customers in their journey to the cloud. You will be their main technical advisor, helping them use AWS cloud services effectively and safely. You will work closely with business leaders to understand their goals and show them how AWS can help achieve these goals. This role combines technical knowledge with business understanding to help customers make smart technology decisions.

Key job responsibilities
* Build long-term plans with customers to help them use AWS cloud successfully
* Guide customers on how to make their AWS systems secure and efficient
* Lead regular reviews of customers' AWS environments and suggest improvements
* Help customers prepare for launching important new projects
* Meet with customer leaders to discuss cloud strategy and plans
* Share successful solutions and best practices across different customers
* Work with AWS service teams to address customer needs
* Create strong relationships with customer technical and business teams
* Help customers adopt new AWS services that can improve their business
* Guide customers in building secure and reliable cloud systems

A day in the life
Your day starts with reviewing your customers' cloud plans. During the morning, you might lead a technical planning session with one customer about their upcoming project. In the afternoon, you join a strategy meeting with another customer's leadership team. Between meetings, you work on improvement plans, review AWS systems for optimization, and connect with AWS technical teams to discuss solutions. Throughout the day, you'll have opportunities to learn about new AWS services to better help your customers succeed.

About the team
AWS Enterprise Support team in Korea is a fast-growing organization that helps customers maximize their success with AWS services. As part of this team, you'll join a group of Technical Account Managers dedicated to supporting major retail and consumer goods companies in Korea. Our team combines deep AWS technical expertise with strong understanding of the Korean market to deliver strategic guidance. We focus on being trusted advisors who help customers innovate and transform their businesses through cloud technology. Working here means being part of a culture that values continuous learning, proactive support, and strong collaboration within a global AWS network.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT system architecture, implementation, operations, and consulting, with a focus on distributed applications.
- Must have experience working directly with enterprise customers in a technical advisory or consulting role, including customer-facing activities such as presenting technical solutions, leading technical discussions, and building trusted relationships with business stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Technical experience in at least three of these areas: cloud computing systems, data storage solutions, network management, content delivery networks (CDN), database operations, DevOps practices, data analytics, security systems, building software applications.
- Native Korean speaker with business English proficiency (equivalent to IELTS score of 6.0 or higher) for internal AWS communication, including ability to participate in technical discussions, write documentation, understand team meetings, and collaborate effectively with global AWS teams.
