We currently have a Sr Sous Chef role available at our Flagship Venue - The Trent Navigation & Big Shed next to the Notts County's home ground and only a stones throw from The World Famous City Ground.

Great Northern Group are an established and reputable pub company based in Nottingham, owning a number of pubs and dining venues in central Nottingham, West Bridgford, Mapperley, Bingham and Newark.

We are looking for a driven and experienced individual to join an already successful kitchen and take it to the next level, whilst adhering to company policies and budgets.

Working directly alongside the Head Chef and Venue Management team - the role is suitable for a Senior Sous or a young and dynamic Chef, possibly currently a Junior Sous looking to take the 1st steps to the next level.

  • The right candidate must be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and lead a small team of Chefs and kitchen staff
  • You must have experience in a similar role as well as being professional and enthusiastic about your work
  • The candidate must also be able to work evenings and weekends and be flexible
  • You will be in control of ordering stock and will be expected to contribute to the overall leadership of the brigade
  • A competitive hourly rate or Salary is offered

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
