Senior Administrator

START DATE: ASAP

16.21 per hour plus holiday accrual

Full time (37 hours, Monday-Friday)

Hybrid working after completion of training (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)

Temporary contract until the end of the year

York City Centre with Free parking on site

We are currently looking for a Senior Administrator join a public-sector organisation in the city centre of York. This role will start on a temporary basis until the end of 2025 with the possibilty to extend.

Weekly payWork/life balance - Flexible hours between the hours of 8am - 6pm (10am latest start time)Holiday entitlement increases to 40.5 days after 12 weeks (32.5 holidays + 8 bank hols)

The Role:

Joining a small team of 7 in the York office, you will be:

Answering the phone and dealing with queriesManaging the regional inbox and responding to queriesRunning reports and updating spreadsheetsFacilitating meetings and assessment/recruitment daysSupporting onboarding

Person Specification:

You will have strong Administration skillsPrevious experience within public sector, regulatory or education environments would be ideal for this role although not essentialAny HR duties would be advantageousCapable of running reports and strong Excel skillsCandidates must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritise and multi-taskStrong IT skills are a must as is the ability to pick up new systems and procedures quickly
