Chemical Process Operator / Production Technician

We are actively seeking dedicated, hard workers with experience performing duties within a manufacturing / production environment. This is a temp to perm opportunity with a very stable company who has been around for over 70 years.

This position will have you working on the second shift. 2pm - 10:30pm

Responsibilities: * Driving fork trucks * Monitoring process equipment * Marking charts/operating logs

Requirements: * High School diploma or equivalent * Prior experience handling chemicals is a plus * Experience in a production or manufacturing environment. * 1+ years' experience in the operation of production equipment or similar industrial environment. * Forklift Certification or forklift experience preferred

* High School graduate
* At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment or warehouse
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Good comfort level with computers and automated machinery
* Leadership potential/ability to move up within production organization is a plus
* Good mechanical ability. Capable of performing heavy physical labor.
* Able to be flexible on shifts preferred.
