If your experience is close to what we’re looking for, please consider applying. </p> <p>Key job responsibilities<br />Responsibilities include:<br />• Support the Operations team by working in a safe, customer-focused manner<br />• Develop and design innovative solutions to difficult problems<br />• Handle multiple internally and externally sponsored projects<br />• Meet deadlines, develop and track plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals<br />• Work with local site Safety Department leadership to understand, implement and audit safety programs. Ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed<br />• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs that integrate with Operations schedules. <br />• Facilitate and mentor the professional development of departmental Maintenance technicians to empower them achieve their advancement goals <br />• Participate in and support efficiency improvement Kaizen activities for the site, as well as the network when needed.<br />• Participate in weekly network Maintenance calls and periodic Maintenance Manager off-site conferences.</p> <p>At Amazon, we continuously strive to make sure our opportunities are open to all. Where it goes and what it looks like is up to you!<br /> BASIC QUALIFICATIONS – Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience<br />– Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays<br />– Experience with computers, including MS Excel, Word and Office<br /> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering<br />– 5+ years of experience as a Reliability Program Manager or equivalent<br />– 5+ years of experience with team management, budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/ customer relations<br />– Experience using CMMS systems and reporting<br />– Experience with computers, including MS Excel, Word and Office<br />– Relevant training in MHE, Controls Systems, PIT as well as general building operations<br />– Experience in project management<br />– Experience with leading and delivering technical training<br />– Understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools such as: 5S, 5Y, FMEA, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC, Run Charts, Pareto Analysis<br />– Strong communication and presentation/facilitation skills<br />– Strong analytical skills to deep dive into data<br />– Ability to turn complex compliance requirements into scalable processes<br />– Strong organizational skills<br />– Ability to align, motivate and lead a team including creating accountability<br />– Prefer experience managing teams in an industrial environment containing conveyance, process control and powered trucks<br />– Demonstrated communication skills written and verbal including negotiation and conflict resolution<br />– Ability to lead others in a technical role and interact with all levels of management<br />– Reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills<br />– Ability to train others with lesser skills<br />– Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and relate them to others.<br />– Field service engineering experience<br />– Experience supporting a wide range of different conveyors and sortation systems<br />– Ability to develop and maintain a partnership and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally with Safety, Operations, Engineering, Sr. Management, peers, contractors and vendors<br />– Ability to multitask and prioritize many different projects<br />– Six Sigma certification from accredited program<br />– Root Cause Analysis formal training and facilitation experience<br />– PMP certification<br />– Experience with Electrical and electronic principles<br />– Experience with Blueprint and electrical schematic reading<br />– Experience in usage of CMMS programs in support of RCA projects<br />– Experience with Preventive maintenance procedures, Industrial electrical, Industrial controls, and Industrial electronics & robotics</p> <p>Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
