BGR DESIGNS LTD is one of Bristol’s leading residential design and build companies, specialising in extensions, loft conversions, renovations, landscaping, and swimming pools. With national TV exposure and a reputation for high-end design, we’re expanding our team to deliver even more outstanding projects for our clients.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who knows residential construction inside out — from sequencing and trade management to customer relationships and building regulations.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of multiple residential projects, ensuring they run smoothly, on time, and to budget. Working closely with our clients, trades, and design team, you’ll oversee every stage of the build process — with a strong focus on quality, communication, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and deliver residential projects from start to finish.
  • Oversee sequencing of works, coordinating multiple trades and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety, and quality standards.
  • Act as the primary client contact, providing updates and maintaining excellent relationships.
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and resources to keep projects on track.
  • Resolve issues quickly and professionally to minimise disruption.
  • Work with senior management to continuously improve processes.

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in residential construction project management.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.
  • Strong understanding of sequencing of works and construction methods.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • CSCS, SMSTS or similar certification (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £32,411.78-£43,567.17 per year
