ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will engage in a variety of engineering tasks, providing approval on project plans for gas transmission, gas compressor stations, and natural gas pipeline projects. You will receive technical guidance on new design topics and collaborate closely with senior engineers on assignments that are new to you.

As a Project Engineer, your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with Project Managers and Unit Leaders to progress complex and technical engineering designs, improve processes and practices, assisting in the preparation of proposals by estimating engineering hours, and ensuring quality control systems are followed. You will apply complex technical information to designs, ensuring projects meet specifications, and fully understand design requirements in your area of expertise. You will support small, medium, and large multi-discipline projects, directing the activities of engineers, drafters and designers, and preparing complex technical analyses. Sharing information with your team and questioning internal and external stakeholders to appreciate design requirements and nuances. You may interact with clients, estimate proposals, and understand the role of business development in achieving operational goals.

Project travel is required but is not expected to exceed 25%, typically involving quarterly visits to project sites. If you are passionate about engineering and eager to contribute to a collaborative and innovative team, we encourage you to apply.

In this role, you are enabled to be at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and utilizing tools such as, Microsoft Copilot, bespoke AI workflow tools, and an IT team dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation to enhance our operations and drive efficiency. All employees can engage with the Digital Transformation Team to support the integration of new tools and following employee ideas to drive success for the business.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the pipeline industry or a related industry
  • Experience with gas facility work and/or compressor stations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the Natural Gas or Electric power industry
  • Registration as a EIT or professional engineer

  • Benefits & Salary: This position pays between $83,200 to 125,242 annually and is an exempt position.
  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
  • Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
  • May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
