Apply today and let's create memorable guest experiences together!POSITION SUMMARY: The Bartender at one of Oxford's luxury or boutique-style hotels is responsible for crafting and serving high-quality cocktails and beverages while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a sophisticated hotel setting. This role requires strong knowledge of mixology, fine spirits, and wine, along with the ability to engage guests with professionalism, warmth, and personalized service. The Bartender ensures all beverages are prepared and presented with consistency, quality, and attention to detail while maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar. The Bartender plays a key role in striving to meet and exceed Four-Star service standards delivering high-quality service and amenities with strong attention to detail, ensuring excellence in every guest interaction, and consistently exceeding expectations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times.Food and Beverage Service (60%): Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wine, and other beverages with precision and consistencyFollow standardized recipes while incorporating creativity for signature drinksProvide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, wine pairings, and spirits based on guest preferencesMaintain consistent beverage presentation, portion control, and garnishing standards that reflect the hotel's upscale environmentResponsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product qualityInput orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages servedDisplay knowledge of liquor laws, maintain the attractive presentation and sanitize all areas at least once daily, make suggestions for the reception and drink menus Bus and clean tables after guest usePerform all tasks in compliance with federal, state, local, food safety and sanitation requirements and Oxford Collection of hotels safety standards and security procedures. Be knowledgeable about and able to respond to emergency situations.
