Find your future with us.<br><br><strong>Boeing Global Services, Distribution Business,</strong> is looking for a dynamic <strong>Operations Warehouse Manager</strong> for our <strong>Wichita, KS </strong>location.<br><br><strong>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Responsible for managing operations/activities ensuring the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through a warehouse and meeting customer delivery requirements.</li><li>Establish and maintain appropriate processes and systems for measuring and reporting all necessary aspects of operational performance, and for establishing timely and thorough corrective action plans for underperforming areas of concern or delinquent development initiatives within agreed formats.</li><li>Monitor, drive and lead the teams and daily warehouse activities.</li><li>Responsible to drive and meet all regulatory requirements and meet operational needs.</li><li>Responsible for all tasks and necessary actions to assure a proper process & communication flow within a site to meet departmental and company key results.</li><li>Work to ensure customer satisfaction with on-time delivery and quality. </li><li>Properly organize, manage and develop direct reporting staff, and establish identification, development, and retention programs for all high-potential individuals.</li><li>Manage and control departmental expenditures and identify expense reduction potentials in support of company key results.</li><li>Plan, develop, and implement department goals in support of annual key results.</li><li>Liaise and collaborate with other key stakeholders as well as ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements and company policies including but not limited to: Code of Conduct, Export Compliance, QA management / procedures and HS&E.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills And Experience)<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>8+ years of related work experience in warehouse operations</li><li>3-6 years of supervisory experience leading teams in warehouse setting</li><li>Experience in global cross functional environment, Warehouse Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain</li><li>Strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Strong ability to make thoughtful decisions</li><li>Highly motivated and self-directed with strong leadership and problem-solving skills</li><li>Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with team, internal functional areas and customers.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Travel:<br><br></strong>This position requires traveling up to 25% of the time.<br><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills And Experience)<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree or higher – Related field of study</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA</li><li>Knowledge of Lean Principles/ISO</li><li>Proven successful project management skills<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Drug Free Workplace:<br><br></strong>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria are met as outlined in our policies<em>.<br><br></em><strong>Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:<br><br></strong>At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
