Job Title: Operations and Administration Manager

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £36,000 per annum

Location: Coram Campus, Bloomsbury, London, WC1N 1AZ, with occasional home working

Coram Voice, part of the Coram Group of charities, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Operations and Administration Manager to as part of the Managing Directors office support our work with children and young people in and leaving care. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-organised, self-motivated professional to manage our administrative systems and functions. You will manage a small team of administrators who provide national support to our services, ensure our operational and administrative processes are effective and streamlined and provide executive support to our Managing Director and Board of Trustees

The role will suit an experienced Operational and Administration Manager who is a great communicator, good at problem solving, who is systematic and comfortable with people at all levels of seniority including children and young people.

The post will have responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of our Head office.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead on Coram Voice’s operational and administrative functions, assuming responsibility for the overall running of the London Office including health and safety, problem solving, liaison with estates etc
  • Overseeing the coordination and supervision of tasks of the Administration team
  • Provide day to day office management
  • Ensure we remain compliant with legislative requirements including, but not limited to, Data Protection (GDPR) in relation to electronic and paper data retention
  • Lead on the development of administrative processes to ensure the smooth running of our administrative processes
  • Provide line management for the service administrators based at Head Office, apprentices, and others as required
  • To provide comprehensive support to the Managing Director and Board of Trustees
