<p>Birmingham City Football Club are recruiting for a Lead Nutritionist to support the Academy performance nutrition programme, providing age-specific education, monitoring, and interventions for players, parents, and staff.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition education and resources.</li><li>Provide individualised nutritional support for older players (PDP) through assessments and tailored plans.</li><li>Collaborate with medical and performance staff for integrated player care.</li><li>Support players during training, competitions, and travel.</li><li>Maintain records and track nutrition-related progress.</li><li>Attend match days to implement nutritional provision and recovery support.</li><li>Deliver workshops and manage the online nutrition hub for players and parents.</li><li>Support young players living away from home.</li><li>Work with coaching and player care staff to align nutrition with development programmes.</li></ul><h2>About The Candidate</h2><p><strong>What are we looking for in you?</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.</li><li>RDN or SENr certification.</li><li>Strong knowledge of sports nutrition.</li><li>Excellent organisational and communication skills.</li><li>Valid Driving Licence.</li></ul><h2>About The Club</h2><p>Birmingham City FC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
