As an IT Support at QuantCo, you will be tasked with ensuring that colleagues can work productively by keeping IT systems updated and making sure related operations are running smoothly. This will involve working closely with our Data Scientists, Engineers, and Talent Operations team to help resolve inefficient processes, communication barriers, and general IT issues while also improving outdated infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support in day-to-day business operations by phone, e-mail, and in-person 
  • Device management, including setting up and configuring workstation computers, printers, and scanners as well as maintenance of high-end IT inventory
  • Assistance with on- and offboarding of employees 
  • Support in the creation of instructions, user documentation, and automatization of processes 
  • Conducting further development (and subsequent implementation) of IT-supported projects and their related processes and applications

We are looking for a detail-oriented team player with an affinity for IT, a passion for technology and:

  • Enrolment in a technically-oriented degree (Bachelor's or Master's degree program)
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows, and/or other operating systems and office solutions
  • First experience with tools/platforms for managing tasks and projects
  • Excellent oral and written skills in German and English
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Hands-on approach and proactive service orientation

Preferred:

  • Basic knowledge of scripting/programming
  • First experience in working with SQL databases
