The primary role for this position is to remediate part back orders and resolve order delays. Additional responsibilities include the processing and fulfillment of purchase order requests and resolution of order issues with constant communication to stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Role Summary :

A Parts Concierge drives solutions for Luminary Customers needing parts for HTM (Healthcare Technology Management) medical devices. The primary role for this position is to remediate part back orders and resolve order delays. Additional responsibilities include the processing and fulfillment of purchase order requests and resolution of order issues with constant communication to stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

  • Remediate part backorders by finding alternate suppliers to source parts to.
  • Work closely with Biomed’s to insure on time order delivery with constant communication.
  • Provide answers to field inquiries and /or direct them to proper resources for resolution.
  • Assist with part solution actions as needed with other cross-functional teams including Sourcing, Zone Analysts, Parts Expediters and AP.
  • Address order escalations. Find and execute part order solutions.
  • Receive and process Biomed order changes. i.e. Cancellations & Amendments to existing PO’s.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed for supplier specific processes.
  • Perform professional vendor and field call handling and communication.
  • Meet or exceed established goals and metrics as defined by the leadership team.
  • Comply with company attendance policy.
  • Run reports in Excel, and effectively manage workload based on delivery expectations.
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.

  • Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPPA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int'l and/or local Law is broken.

  • Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int'l and/or local Law is broken.

  • Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.

Job Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related discipline and minimum one year of customer service experience; or a High School diploma/GED and five or more years of customer service experience.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, Access).

  • Minimum two years' experience working with Microsoft Excel; knowledge of pivot tables required.

  • Ability to communicate using local language.

  • Strong focus on customer care and satisfaction.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines and commitments.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

  • The successful applicant must comply with GEHC's standard background check, including a post-offer drug test. In addition, during employment, the employee must comply with all customer access policies, including but not limited to obtaining and/or providing proof of required immunizations, and additional drug tests or background checks (including a federal government background check if assigned to support a contract with the federal government).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree with 2 years’ work experience in the assigned commodity
  • Minimum of 2 years of parts expediting experience in all facets of the assigned commodities
  • Proven strong customer advocate
  • Excellent communication skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships
  • Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
  • Working knowledge of Nuvolo preferred

  • Strong customer service skills, both internal and external
