Salary: Base of £57,000 plus service charge 7-8k and KPI Bonus

A busy 5* London hotel is seeking a Head Chef to lead its culinary operations and drive the Restaurant kitchen overseeing multi food outlets from one kitchen. This is opportunity for a strong Head Chef or senior sous chef looking for their first HC position to take charge of kitchen, lead and inspire the brigade.

The position will suit a restaurant head chef from busy leading kitchens cooking seasonal British food to a minimum of 2AA rosette standards.

The Role

·Oversee all culinary operations alongside the Hotel Executive chef and management team, including the restaurants, bar snacks and room service. (No Events)

·Deliver high-quality seasonal British cuisine.

·Ensure consistency and excellence across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.

·Develop menus, food specs and photos, enhance the food presentation, and bring a fresh, creative approach to the kitchen.

·Maintain the hotel’s standard, ensuring the highest level of quality and service.

·Build and develop a strong, motivated team with a positive kitchen culture.

The Ideal Head Chef

·Proven and stable experience as head chef or Senior sous from high quality busy restaurants at 2AA standards

·Strong leadership and team-building skills to inspire and develop chefs at all levels.

·Extensive knowledge of British cuisine and seasonal ingredients.

·Excellent menu development abilities, with a creative and dynamic approach.

·Ability to manage cost control, supplier relationships, and kitchen operations efficiently
