About Us: At Wordbank, we are the strategic bridge between marketing and localization for the world's top entertainment companies, and we have a pivotal opportunity for an expert to solve a high-stakes puzzle. This is more than a consultancy role; it’s a mission to redefine success on Amazon for a major global brand. Our client knows how to sell products, but they need a trailblazer to help them master the art of selling stories. We're looking for an Amazon Ads expert who understands the nuances of promoting TVOD channel content and can architect a strategy that drives real purchases, not just clicks.

This is a role for a true owner—someone who thrives in a high-trust environment and is energized by autonomy and impact. As our lead Amazon Ads specialist, you won’t be a cog in a machine. You will be our go-to expert, working independently within our lean digital team to craft the strategy, lead the client conversations, and execute the campaigns that deliver tangible results. We’re looking for a flexible problem-solver who is driven to connect strategy directly to business outcomes.

Success in this role means transforming our client's challenge into a showcase of our expertise. You will be the architect of a winning pitch, and with that win - the strategist who cracks the code on their current performance, and the hands-on expert who turns that strategy into a scalable, successful program. If you are excited by the opportunity to make a measurable impact and solve a complex challenge for a major entertainment brand, we want to meet you.

Key responsibilities:

  • Audit existing Amazon Ads campaigns and provide a clear, data-driven roadmap for optimization focused on increasing TVOD purchases and lowering Cost Per Acquisition (CPA).

  • Develop and present strategic pitch materials that showcase expert-level approaches to Amazon Ads for entertainment clients.

  • Lead client conversations on performance, strategy, and attribution, clearly articulating the "why" behind our recommendations.

  • Collaborate with the in-house Wordbank Digital Team to integrate Amazon Ads into broader digital marketing initiatives.

    Requirements:

    • Multiple years of experience devising conversion-focused strategies and executing campaigns on Amazon Ads.

    • Demonstrated experience within the entertainment and streaming industry, with a specific track record of promoting digital transactions (purchases, rentals) for VOD clients on Amazon Ads.

    • Agency or Freelance experience working directly with and presenting to clients.

    • A deep, hands-on understanding of Amazon DSP, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ad types as they apply to entertainment promotion.

    • Experience with clients in the entertainment & streaming space.

    • Experience working with animated content/brands.

    • Experience with Amazon Attribution or similar tools to measure VOD purchase funnels.

    • Experience with Reddit Ads and TikTok Ads.

Hours commitment:
Initial engagement will be on an ad hoc, project basis to support strategic client development. Upon a successful pitch and agreed client scope, this role would expand to a monthly retainer with guaranteed hours. Wordbank is a key partner to major streaming and entertainment brands, so opportunities to work with other clients are expected to arise.

Payment: We settle invoices through Wise or by bank transfer at the end of month following the month of the invoice.
