Meet the Team 

The Intranet Experience Team is dedicated to re-imagining intranet experiences that make it easy for Cisco employees to do great work. We focus on creating an interactive, intelligent, and personalized digital workplace that connects employees to their communities and integrates all their tools and services into their daily workflows. Our team supports diverse areas including Directory, Apps, Approvals, HelpZone, Homepage, and Devices, striving to deliver a consistent, relevant, and accessible user experience. We are passionate about fostering collaboration and innovation to empower employees to be productive, informed, and connected every day.


Your Impact 

Within a small, global agile team on the Intranet Experience Team, you will:

  • Deploy and maintain critical intranet applications at Cisco scale, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Play a key role in developing and deploying complex software solutions that enhance data ingestion, analysis, and user experience across intranet platforms like Directory, Apps, Approvals, HelpZone, and Homepage.
  • Apply software engineering best practices with a security-first mentality, contributing to a secure and scalable intranet environment.
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of new technologies to improve and innovate Cisco’s intranet services.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders by presenting, sharing, and demonstrating your work to drive alignment and impact.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Including but not limited to a recent/upcoming graduate of a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) or a certification program (e.g. a Bootcamp or Apprenticeship). Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of these.
  • Programming language experience e.g.: Python, Golang
  • Experience with developing, testing and debugging automated tasks (CI/CD pipelines)
  • Familiarity of Cloud services e.g: GCP, AWS, Azure
  • Familiarity with Agile & Scrum methodology


Preferred qualifications

  • A passion for and a dedication to lifelong learning, a willingness and eagerness to invest time in training and developing your skills
  • Understanding of strong security practices
  • Experience deploying and maintaining applications in a staging/production environment
