The individual will be responsible for driving new business development within a set territory of the United States region, working in alignment with the US Region sales organization.<br><br>Role:<br>• Develop sales pipeline leveraging all available resources, including direct cold calling, in person meetings, communication and coordination with product development team, coordination with US Region account teams, industry networking, etc.<br>• Develop and execute an individual territory plan.<br>• Achieve sales and revenue objectives as set by business unit senior management.<br>• Develop financial modeling and business cases for identified opportunities, as well as coordinate contract development.<br>• Develop, coordinate, and deliver sales presentations to identified opportunities.<br>• Coordinate with regional implementation support to ensure new customer implementation needs are met.<br>• Pro-actively identify and prioritize initiatives that drive customer and Mastercard revenues<br>• Communicate and coordinate with the product development organization to highlight product innovation opportunities emerging from discussions with customers and potential customers.<br>• Actively participate in the sales planning process.<br><br><br>All About You:<br>• Significant prior experience with a proven track record in direct prospect sales, industry product and processing expertise necessary.<br>• Self-starter, able to identify and direct activities to achieve objectives<br>• Deep knowledge of Mastercard products and the Mastercard Value Proposition preferred<br>• Able to identify and capture opportunities for increasing Mastercard revenue and profitability while maintaining a customer focus<br>• Presentation and proposal skills<br>• Able to manage multiple tasks and accountabilities in a fast paced, matrixed environment<br>• Negotiation and influencing skills; Language of the customer; Problem resolution; Strategic planning<br>• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business management or sales<br>• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.<br>• SalesForce.com experience a plus<br>• 45% domestic overnight travel<br>• Preferably will work from the Mastercard HQ office but working from a home office within the territory is acceptable.<h3></h3><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Mastercard is a merit-based, inclusive, equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
