Owen Mumford are looking to hire a Digital Communications Executive! Could this be your next role?

Scope:

As the Digital Communications Executive at Owen Mumford, you will join our Group Communications team to contribute to the development and execution of digital strategies that elevate brand visibility and drive commercial impact. Responsibilities include supporting campaign planning, managing and optimising websites, implementing targeted digital initiatives, and overseeing SEO and analytics reporting. The role also involves creating engaging social content, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies, and staying ahead of emerging digital trends to ensure innovative and effective digital engagement.


Please be aware that this role will be based at our Woodstock site upon commencing employment, however it will be based out of our Witney site permanently within the next 12 months.


Key Responsibilities:

Website & Content Management

  • Maintain and optimise global corporate and product websites, ensuring technical performance, content accuracy, SEO best practices, and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with the Comms Team, Product Managers, and local Marketing teams to create and publish engaging product landing pages and microsites with clear, measurable calls to action (CTAs).
  • Continuously review website functionality, ensuring contact and conversion points are optimised to support lead generation and sales.

Digital Campaign Development

  • Work with the Comms team to plan, create, and schedule digital marketing assets across multiple platforms and channels to support brand awareness, product launches, and sales growth.
  • Develop and deliver segmented and targeted digital campaigns for a range of stakeholders including medical distributors, pharmaceutical organisations, clinicians, patients, consumers, charities, and current/future employees.
  • Support the implementation of SEO strategies and executing digital tactics such as PPC, paid search, paid social, retargeting, and email marketing. Benchmark digital activity against competitors by developing and maintaining a key competitor / product analysis overview.

Social Media & Community Engagement

  • Manage and grow the Owen Mumford Corporate and Medical Devices social media presence across global and local markets.
  • Create, edit, and schedule engaging, brand-aligned content for social platforms to build awareness, drive engagement, and support campaign objectives.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Measure, analyse, and report on the performance of websites and digital marketing campaigns against defined KPIs and ROI targets.
  • Benchmark digital activity against competitors by developing and maintaining a competitor/product analysis overview to inform strategy and identify opportunities.

Innovation & Digital Trends

  • Stay up to date with emerging digital marketing trends, platforms, and web technologies.
  • Appropriately implement new tools and approaches to enhance campaign effectiveness and support the broader digital strategy.

Stakeholder & Agency Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver digital marketing projects, tools, and assets that support promotional activity, training, and market research.
  • Ensure all digital outputs meet brand standards and contribute to the organisation’s reputation and commercial objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience within a similar role in a communications team
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, Canva).
  • Experience managing websites using CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress).
  • Strong understanding of SEO and SEM, including PPC, retargeting, and keyword strategy.
  • Proficiency in social media management across platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, X, Instagram) and scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite).
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and audience segmentation.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (desirable) for minor web edits and troubleshooting.
