OVERVIEW Atkins Search are recruiting for a Construction Planner to join a dynamic and progressive Construction Consultancy based in Nottingham with hybrid working available. Please note – if you are an Assistant Planner or have previous construction planning experience, your application will be considered. CLIENT My client is an esteemed, professional Construction Consultancy that provide a variety of services to national and international clients across all property sectors, including both public and private sectors. You will join a team of industry leading professionals with the option to work across a variety of sectors across the Midlands, including; Build, Defence, Infrastructure, Civil Engineering, Local Authority, Government and many more exciting projects! ROLE As a Construction Planner, you will be responsible for providing planning and programming services, including pre-construction and programme delivery, to a variety of different Blue Chip clients across construction, built environment and civil engineering sectors. Duties include (but not limited to): Set up programmes from inception to commissioning and completion Set up and manage auditable trails of programmes Understand what makes each project unique and establish programmes around key milestones Collate & validate project progress and report to the Project Management team Provide an effective planning and reporting service to project managers and stakeholders Facilitate the production of the project work breakdown structure (WBS) Prepare, monitor and forecast schedules during all project phases including input during the estimating and tendering phases Identify and track all changes or potential changes to the project baseline and subsequent underpinning of change control mechanisms PERSON To be considered for this role the successful Planner will ideally have the following background and experience: Planning software knowledge and experience (ideally Asta Powerproject, Microsoft project, P6, Primavera or similar) Experienced in different types of project planning and programme works Demonstrable experience within a similar Planning role for a Construction Consultancy or Contractor Construction related qualification(s) REMUNERATION Some of the exciting perks and benefits that they offer a Construction Planner include (but not limited to): Highly competitive salary, £50,000 - £70,000 (negotiable, depending on experience) Car allowance Pension contribution Annual bonus Flexible working hours Generous annual leave entitlement Annual salary review Hybrid working Professional training and development Mileage and expense reimbursement Laptop and mobile phone Regular social events Relaxed working environment with a collaborative culture Clear career path and realistic opportunities to progress My client’s priority is to work together to deliver lasting, successful, quality outcomes to leave a positive legacy.
