Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. This role requires creativity and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and create new dishes that reflect seasonal ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing culinary techniques and best practices.
  • Assist in the presentation of meals to ensure they are visually appealing for guests.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
  • Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a clean kitchen.
