We are seeking an experienced commercial claims adjuster to provide front-line customer-focused handling for our covered territories. This adjuster will be responsible for all aspects of coverage, investigation, negotiation, and resolution within established best practices while utilizing independent judgment in decision-making and managing the claim promptly and thoroughly from inception through closure. Because the success of our company is rooted in teamwork, the way we care about the people we work with and serve, this hybrid role will work in our Raleigh office a minimum of two days with the flexibility to work from home the remaining three days.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Your WORK as a Commercial Claims Adjuster will make a difference by:</strong></p><ul><li>Handling all aspects of investigation and settlement of assigned claims to include interviewing all involved parties; reviewing property damage estimates; evaluating and making recommendations regarding coverage of claims; determining liability and the total value of claims; negotiating settlements and making recommendations regarding litigation; with a focus on prompt resolution and exceptional customer service. Calculating and paying appropriate benefits promptly.
