Position Summary:

As a Busser at Mesero, you play a key role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience. You will work alongside servers, bartenders, host/hostess and Management to create a warm seamless experience for guests. Ensuring tables are clean, sanitized, set and ready to provide the best service possible. Maintaining restrooms and overall restaurant cleanliness each shift. This role is ideal for those who are eager to learn and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist team members in removing dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware from tables between courses, and deliver them to the dishwashing area.
  • Assist servers during peak times by delivering dishes to tables, refilling drinks, and helping with any additional table service.
  • Greet guest at the table with chips and salsa within 2 minutes of seating
  • Keep chips and salsa station fully stocked throughout the shift
  • Communicate effectively with hosts and servers to maintain service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Once guest leave, clean, sanitize and reset tables quickly and efficiently
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-house area, including all tables, chairs, and floors.
  • Restrooms checked, stocked and clean every 15 minutes throughout the day
  • Assist in other areas of the restaurant as directed by management to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Up to date certifications required by state regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • A passion for hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Prior experience in a restaurant setting is a plus but not required.
