This Business Intelligence Analyst position is a role within Midland Mortgage, a division of MidFirst Bank, in the Strategy and Operational Support group. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, documenting, and maintaining links between access databases and the data warehouse. You will communicate directly with business unit stakeholders and corporate technology database administrators to make sure data is accurate and available for use in reporting.


Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Working closely with the operations leadership, corporate technology, and other internal/external stakeholders to ensure that business intelligence and reporting is aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the company
  • Overseeing new change requests and effectively managing workloads
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of reports and work flow by leveraging existing Data Warehouse solutions and helping to establish new data sources
  • Performs ad hoc data pulls to meet internal and external reporting requirements of the business.
  • Driving improvements to ineffective or inefficient data processes and sharing best practices
  • Utilizing design skills to produce and maintain clear, articulate, insightful reporting, and data schema to best deliver outputs and derived insights

**This position is fully onsite, not offering hybrid or remote work options.


Position Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other business related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or 5-7 years of commensurate experience in lieu of specific degree or GPA is required.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, Access SQL, and Microsoft Access
  • Knowledge of BI and reporting concepts and analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of general principles of data warehouse environments and enterprise BI tools regardless of platform
  • The ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and critical-thinking abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and time management
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
  • Ability to turn complex concepts into understandable content for non-technical users
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • A strong willingness to learn, adapt, and actively contribute to the success of the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with general principles of data warehouse environments
  • Exposure to managing large amounts of data from various sources
  • Exposure to project management tools including: Asana or Clarizen
  • Exposure to WebFocus
