Voodoo Brewing Co. Colorado Springs Pub in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for bartenders to join our team. We are located on 808 Garden Of The Gods Road. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable.

Bartenders are the life of the pub, controlling the rate of orders, setting a comfortable tone, displaying our company culture, and educating patrons on our world-class beer and food. They need to be personable and fun, but responsible and able to ensure compliance with local alcohol laws & health code policies.

Our ideal candidate is energetic, very likeable, sociable, passionate, eager to grow, extroverted, customer-oriented, and reliable.

Hiring for full-time, some part-time opportunity available. MUST HAVE SUNDAY AVAILABILITY.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and pub patrons.
  • Interact with guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks.
  • Assess guests' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
  • Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
  • Cash guests out in an expedient fashion and ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Continually assess the needs of guests who are new to our concept and follow standard greeting guidelines and customer support procedures.
  • Knowledge of our non-traditional seating arrangements, ordering options, and service style in general.
  • Deliver quality guest service and monitor the level of service throughout the pub.
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
  • Adhere to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance.
  • Responsible for checking the employee scheduling/communication platform for updates from management and info from fellow employees.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations.


Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a bartender preferred.
  • All bartenders must be of proper age and show competence in serving alcohol. It is STRONGLY encouraged that bartenders have cicerone certification, home brewing experience, or general experience in the craft beer industry.
  • TIPS /SERVSAFE Certification a plus
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently team-lift 260 lb. kegs.
