Edge Impulse has joined forces with Qualcomm’s Industrial Embedded IoT division, and we are growing our team because Edge AI is an important part of Qualcomm’s diversification roadmap.<br><br>We are seeking a motivated and technically curious Associate Account Executive to join our regional sales pod. This full-cycle sales role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their career in SaaS sales while engaging with cutting-edge technology and technical buyers. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales process—from outbound prospecting and lead qualification to solution presentation, negotiation, and closing deals. You will work closely with a pre-sales Engineer, account management, and your pod of account executives to close net new business.<br><br><strong>Primary Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Prospect and identify new business opportunities utilizing tools like LinkedIn and Hubspot, cold calling, outbound personalized emails, cold calling, attending in-person industry events, and nurturing sales/marketing-generated leads</li><li> Work closely with your pod and engage with ML engineers, embedded engineers, and R&D departments, understanding how they can utilize Edge Impulse to expedite their go to market and product launches.</li><li> Negotiate and close contracts with prospects, working with legal and procurement departments internally and externally.</li><li> Manage your book of business with a clear understanding of your pipeline within HubSpot (CRM), forecasting accurate close dates, notes, and points of contact to drive deals forward.</li><li> Comfortable leading initial discovery conversations with engineering & technical stakeholders, convincing organizations to conduct proof-of-concepts with us, and building trust among their organization.</li><li> Ability to learn how to utilize Edge Impulse to show simple demos of the platform and possible use cases that can be built.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Skills And Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li> Minimum 2 years in a full-cycle outbound SaaS sales role</li><li> Experience selling to technical audiences (e.g., machine learning or embedded engineers, developers, R&D teams).</li><li> Strong understanding of SaaS sales processes, CRM systems (preferably HubSpot), and outbound prospecting strategies including sequences, cold calling, personalized emails.</li><li> Technical aptitude and curiosity—comfortable discussing software, APIs, data workflows, and ML concepts with experience or interest in Edge AI, IoT, embedded systems, or machine learning solutions.</li><li> Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.</li><li> Multilingual proficiency is a bonus.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Academic Credentials<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field is strongly preferred.<br><br><br></li></ul>#EdgeImpulse<br><br><ul><li>References to a particular number of years experience are for indicative purposes only.
