<strong>Overview<br><br></strong><strong> Flexible Worker Contract <br><br></strong><strong> Location: </strong> <strong> Remote <br><br></strong><strong>About The Role<br><br></strong>We're excited to be looking for<strong> Assessment Associates (Writers, Reviewers and Scrutineers)</strong> in our <strong>Interactive Media (Vcerts) team</strong> on a flexible worker contract for the following qualification.<br><br><strong> Level 1/2 Technical Award in Interactive Media <br><br></strong><strong> Assessment Associate - Writer <br><br></strong>As a Writer you’ll contribute to the development of assessment materials for our Vcerts qualifications. Your role will involve producing fit-for-purpose materials, such as question papers, assignment briefs and mark schemes. You’ll apply your subject-specific knowledge to prepare draft assessment materials, which will be refined over time with input from our Technical Reviewers and assessment specialists.<br><br><strong> Assessment Associate - Reviewers <br><br></strong>As a reviewer, you’ll be responsible for reviewing and drafting assessment materials, as well as supporting revisions to ensure the assessments are fit for purpose. You’ll use your subject-specific expertise to evaluate draft materials, including question papers and mark schemes, providing feedback that highlights any errors, ambiguities, omissions, or oversights.<br><br><strong> Assessment Associate - Scrutineer <br><br></strong>As a Scrutineer, you’ll be working with draft assessment materials from a learner perspective. You’ll be required to identify and provide suggestions to rectify errors, ambiguities, omissions or oversights, ensuring high-quality, accessible assessments.<br><br><strong>How You’ll Make An Impact<br><br></strong><ul><li> Contributing to the production of high quality, reliable assessment content that reflects in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Vcerts assessments. </li><li> Supporting the development of assessment content that meets all commissioning instructions, as agreed with the Assessment Solutions Officer </li><li> Providing additional assessment content as required, including document/image sources and details of copyright permission, as required </li><li> Producing exemplar materials for assessments, as required </li><li> Liaise with Assessment Solution Officers, Subject Chairs/Technical Reviewers, Chief Examiners and other Assessment Associates </li><li> Attending paper review panel days and training sessions, as required <br><br></li></ul><strong> We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following </strong><strong> : <br><br></strong><ul><li> A minimum of a level 3 qualification in the advertised subject area </li><li> Current, valid and up to date knowledge of the subject area with a minimum of 3 years’ experience </li><li> Experience of writing and/or reviewing external assessment materials (question papers/mark schemes/tasks) to a Level 3 standard </li><li> Excellent written and oral communication skills </li><li> Ability to work effectively as part of a hybrid team through clear, respectful and timely communication </li><li> Ability and/or willingness to engage with IT systems to facilitate effective remote working <br><br></li></ul>Feeling inspired?
