I am working with a business in the consumer goods industry who are going through a period of continued growth, they are looking for someone to work within the D2C team. This role will lead on the growth of the marketplace channels like eBay and Amazon, you will be based onsite local to Newmarket 5 days a week.


As an Online Marketing Specialist, you will work in collaboration with the rest of the D2C team and identify opportunities to deliver against company forecast, growing brand presence and revenue across multiple marketplaces is crucial in ensuring business growth.
 
To be successful in this role you will have experience working with a portfolio of multiple consumer goods along with the following:

  • Creating and executing a sustainable marketplace strategy.
  • Listing management and feed optimisation on eBay and Amazon.
  • Conducting category research and developing strategic planning to drive sales.
  • Profitably management, pricing both cost and selling.
  • Listing research, keyword research, copywriting, optimisation and implementation.
  • Strategic planning and execution for product launches and promotional activity
  • Overseeing, developing, and implementing comprehensive paid media strategies to increase sales, visibility, brand recognition, and drive sales.
Your skills and qualifications will reflect the below:
  • eBay and Amazon marketplace experience essential.
  • Advanced hands-on knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and eBay equivalent.
  • Experience of negotiating and liaising with Amazon Vendor including terms management.
  • Ability to direct and execute on and build Pay-Per-Click campaigns across all of Amazon’s (and eBay’s) paid advertising.
  • Ability to create, analyse, and share marketplace data and sales analytics for use in forecasting, production, and internal comms.
