This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.<br><br>The Central GenAI Programme exists to equip the firm and empower our teams to use AI to lead the market in the delivery of premium work to our clients. AI Lawyers will be deployed by the Director of AI Delivery into practices globally to support the firm’s AI implementation, integration and transformation. They will share best practices and ideas on a cross-border and cross-practice basis, and propel the firm forward by working collaboratively.<br><br>AI Lawyers will be particularly involved in delivering on our strategic priorities to deploy best-in-class Legal AI Assistants, transform end-to-end legal workflows and proactively engage with our clients and understand their needs. They will also work closely with the data science team to optimise the value we get out of our data.<br><br><strong>About You<br><br></strong><ul><li>You will have a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience (following two years’ training or equivalent qualifying work experience).</li><li>Key characteristics: persuasive; strong ability to think on your feet/think laterally; adaptability and a keen interest in technology and innovation.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Your role<br><br></strong><ul><li>Work as part of a team of AI Lawyers tasked with supporting Linklaters’ lawyers and practices in embedding consistent, measurable and effective use of generative AI (GenAI) globally.</li><li>Deploy flexibly throughout Linklaters depending on where the most pressing need/best business case exists to work as a bridge between lawyers and technology providers, supporting in identifying and translating requirements and testing proposed solutions to minimise impact on client-facing lawyers’ time.</li><li>Support in cross-pollinating ideas between practice groups and regions so that solutions developed in one part of the firm can be leveraged by other parts.</li><li>Deliver regular targeted trainings on new developments based on up-to-date tools and usage, and hosts office hours to address any queries; also available to address queries at point of need. </li><li>Client-facing to deliver appropriate trainings (basic/ advanced prompting, using Linklaters’ client-facing AI functionality) where required; input into pitches re available tools and success stories; provide sound bytes/ other practice-specific talking points to lawyers.</li><li>Flexible to provide consultancy services to a Linklaters deal team on the best way to use AI effectively on a particular client matter, often at short notice.</li><li>Support the Director of AI Delivery in identifying emerging trends from tool usage, including areas requiring additional support and areas of strength to support fair allocation of resource aligned to the firm’s strategic goals.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Key priorities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead localised workstream focused on driving awareness and adoption of emerging GenAI capabilities within the firm's technology workbench (e.g., Copilot, Laila) and new solutions being developed.</li><li>Facilitate the development of internal framework (prompting, workflows) to create end-to-end processes for matter/ segment delivery within embedded practice group.</li><li>Create and maintain user-friendly collateral, including task lists and cheat sheets, specific to your practice group for internal use and at varying levels of sophistication (e.g. trainee, associate, partner).</li><li>Support client engagement in relation to AI use and products, driving support for Linklaters’ use of AI on mandates.</li><li>Proactively advocate for “host” practice group needs/ solutions to be prioritised on product roadmaps.</li><li>Keep up-to-date with market (including competitor) developments and potential areas of opportunity for embedded “host” practice group.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What Sets Us Apart<br><br></strong><ul><li>We offer a truly global work experience and the opportunity to be involved in strategic projects that drive innovation and shape the future of our business</li><li>We belong to a firm that embodies its corporate social, environment, and governance responsibility commitments</li><li>We remain focused on talent and having the best people which will result in a diverse workforce</li><li>Having got the best people, we want them to feel included, valued and respected so they can perform at their best</li><li>We advocate speak-up culture to empower our people in sharing their voices and an open-door policy to ensure they are listened to</li><li>We invest in custom-fit career paths for our people in line with their talents and aspirations</li><li>We provide agile working solutions to meet the changing needs of our people and our business</li><li>We are committed to people first relationships based on mutual trust, respect, and appreciation</li><li>We support the health and wellbeing of our people, providing a safe space to talk about emotions and mental health with access to expert advice as needed</li><li>We invest in developing leaders of the future who demonstrate emotional intelligence and a passion to discover, coach and develop the talents of others.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Our commitment to you/Linklaters<br><br></strong>We are a friendly, informal practice and are committed to providing you with the support and training you need to maximise your potential.<br><br>We place great value on working as a team in a positive, supportive, fair and open working environment.
